Gameplay:

Cross Country

In this event, riders guide their horses on a long-distance race, typically anywhere from 2-4 miles in total. This tests not only the horse's speed and endurance, but also the rider’s wisdom, and ability to judge their horse’s stamina. We’ve concentrated the experience down to a scale more suitable for a multiplayer experience, while maintaining the spirit of cross-country races. It’s not just about a player’s skill and timing, but also their connection to the horse. 

Show Jumping

Show jumping tests the horse’s training and a rider’s control. This event consists of a short track with a variety of obstacles the horse must clear. Speed is important here, but a rider will be penalized if they do not clear the jumps perfectly. For this, both rider and horse need to be in perfect harmony. If you can learn your horse’s rhythm, hitting perfect jumps will be a trott in the park!

Dressage

Dressage is often compared to a dance. In this event, rider’s must lead their horses through a choreographed routine set to music. Now don’t get the wrong idea, it's not dancing with the stars, horses aren't expected to perform an argentine tango. Instead, they must perform specific movements at a certain cadence. Because of this, obedience and training are paramount for dressage horses. Communication between horse and rider needs to be near telepathic. To emulate this, players face a rhythm based challenge that simulates the directions given to the horse, while needing to maintain specific speeds throughout the set.

Free Ride

Explore the free ride mode, an open field to practice and hone your skills. Get to grips with the controls or just spend some quality time with your favorite horse. In this mode you get to select a course and take your horse around free of any score, competitors or time limits. In free ride, you’ll practically be able to feel the breeze through your hair as you gallop around!
